A Police Officer Killed While He Was Acting On A Domestic Violence Call

A police officer was killed while he was doing his duty, and his partner also wounded. The Ogden city police officer was responding to a domestic violence call when he was killed. His identity is not revealed.

Woman Contacted For Reporting Domestic Violence

A woman called on 911, and she informed the dispatchers that her husband was trying to kill her. Then the police appeared to the woman’s home, and they spotted the husband. Then the husband managed to go back into his house and began firing. In the gun firing, a bullet hit the police officer, and then his partner also wounded.

The officer and his partner brought to a hospital. The officer later died, and his associate just experienced non-threatening wounds and now in stable condition.

Officials Statement On Officer’s Death

The whole department of the police officer is very emotional about the death of him. Mike Haddon, the executive director of Utah Department of Corrections, recently said in a statement: ‘One of our agents was hit by gunfire as he and his partner reacted to an emergency call. Our agent has been treated and discharged from a local hospital for non-life-threatening wounds.

We have no further comment, except that our hearts are broken, and we grieve with the Ogden Police Department for the loss of a fellow law enforcement officer. Our feelings and prayers are with the family of this fallen hero.’
