Florida Woman Detained And Charged For The Death Of Her 4-Month-Old Baby


A woman is facing jail time as she is responsible for the death of her 4-month-old infant. 28-year-old Samantha Mariel Angeles-De La Rosa arrested by the cops as she proved guilty for brutally injuring her baby.

Officers Appeared At Angeles-De La Rosa’s Home

Polk County first-responders appeared at Angeles-De La Rosa’s home at around 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. They discovered the baby in unresponsive condition, and they brought the infant to Winter Haven Hospital.

Unfortunately after an hour later, the baby passed away. There were many injuries everywhere on the infant, and when the officers asked her mom about it, she replied that her 21-month-old toddler did this.

Reason Of Infant’s Death

A post-mortem also conducted at the baby, which unveiled that the injuries were made by blunt force trauma, so from this, the officers understand that the mother is responsible for the critical condition of the baby.

The cause of the baby’s death was considered to be blunt force head trauma, and the way of death was directed as a murder.

Charges And Punishments

The police officers arrested Samantha Mariel Angeles-De La Rosa on Wednesday and she is facing the charges of one count of second-degree homicide and two counts of intensified child abuse in the death of a 4-month-old baby.
