Mother and Father Arrested And Charged after 7-Year-Old Ohio Boy Dies From Abuse

A mother has been accused of homicide, and a stepfather with jeopardizing youngsters following a 7-year-old Ohio kid kicked the bucket at his home, ABC 6 reports.

Columbus law enforcement officials reacted to a call about a suffocated youngster at around 8 p.m. Saturday, the station stated and discovered Fabian Maldonado-Cortez lethargically.

He was taken to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in basic condition and articulated dead there not long before 10 p.m

Investigators confirmed that the kid had been exposed to extreme maltreatment, which prompted his demise. The kid’s mom, 24-year-old Oneida Maldonado-Cortez, was accused of homicide, and his stepfather, 37-year-old Jose Emanuel Santos Perez, was charged with imperilling youngsters.

Maldonado-Cortez conceded that she beat the kid on various occasions and never took him to the emergency clinic. Santos purportedly told law enforcement officials he saw Maldonado-Cortez beat the kid with a few items for a considerable length of time yet dreaded calling the law enforcement officials since he didn’t need her to go to prison.

Fabian had a few injuries and gashes. It was not satisfactory if the kid had really suffocated.
