NBC Peacock: Shows You Should Definitely Watch After Launch

NBCUniversal is soon coming up with its new streaming service named Peacock around the world. It is just available for limited Comcast members only. From July 15, 2020, the service will be available for everyone, and you will be able to watch plenty of NBC content. Peacock will surely give a tough competition to other streaming giants like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, etc.

After the launch, there will be some great original shows available to watch. Here’s the list of some original shows that will be worth watching:

 1. Brave New World 

It is an upcoming science-fiction dystopian drama series that will be available to watch on July 15, 2020, at the time of the launch of Peacock. It features stars like Demi Moore, Alden Ehrenreich, Harry Lloyd, Jessica Brown Findlay, Hannah John-Kamen, and Sen Mitsuji.

The premise of Brave New World says: ‘The series assumes a utopian society that has gained peace and stability through the ban of monogamy, privacy, money, family, and history itself.’

2. Angelyne

It is a limited series that centers on the life of the L.A. billboard figure and socialite Angelyne. It will release on Peacock, after its launch. As per IMDb, the premise of the series is: ‘A limited series based on the Hollywood Reporter’s investigative article regarding Angelyne, L.A.’s mysterious billboard icon.’

3. Punky Brewster

NBC is reviving the classical sitcom series, Punky Brewster, for Peacock. This year, the network confirmed that it is in the works. Soleil Moon Frye and Cherie Johnson who are the original man lead stars will return for it. The release date is not confirmed for the series.

4. Madagascar: A Little Wild

Madagascar: A Little Wild is the upcoming animated series that is set in the Madagascar franchise. It will center on the story of Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo in their young ages. It will arrive on both Hulu and Peacock in 2020.

5. A.P. Bio

Now the third season of the comedy series A.P Bio will release on Peacock. It was earlier canceled by NBC after the second season release but now it will appear as the original show of Peacock. It centers on the story of an ex-philosophy professor who teaches A.P. biology and also seeks revenge against the people who mistreated him.
