Evey good film requires a great villain. Hollywood has given us many major supervillains, which is very much liked by the audiences even more than the hero. Even some villains faded the presence of the main hero, and they managed to grab the attention of the viewers. So we have come up with a list of major iconic Hollywood villains, have a look below:

1. Thanos

Thanos is a significant supervillain of Marvel whom we saw wiping half of the population in Avengers Infinity War. In Avengers Endgame, he almost killed all the Avengers. Thanos is counted as one of the most strong villains in the Universe of Marvel. In the MCU films, Josh Brolin played the role of the Mad Titan.

2. Joker

Joker is the biggest nemesis of the superhero Batman which makes him a more popular character. In DC movies, many Hollywood actors had played the role of Joker, and Heath Ledger’s Joker is the best one. Back in the previous year, Joker released, which is the solo film of the supervillain. Joaquin Phoenix played the role, and he also won the Best Actor Oscar for it.

3. Pennywise

Pennywise is considered as the most horrific clown. He has killed so many children in IT films. The evil clown awakes every twenty-seven years and only targets children to kill. Bill Skarsgård nailed the role of Pennywise in the two parts of the reboot of IT.

4. Darth Vader

Darth Vader is one of the iconic villains of Star Wars. He’s considered one of Hollywood’s greatest villains. Some of the Star War fans believed that he is picturized as bad, and he did not do anything wrong. So that makes him the most lovable villain.

5. Lord Voldemort

Lord Voldemort or Tom Riddle is the biggest nemesis of Harry Potter as he killed his parents when he was born. He is considered as the most powerful and deadly Dark Wizard of all time. He split his own spirit into seven Horcruxes which nearly make him immortal because killing him is very tough.

6. Jack Torrance

In the 1980 horror movie titled The Shining, we saw the madness of Jack Torrance. Jack Nicholson played the role, and he impressed the audiences with his performance. The horror film is considered as one of the most influential movies ever made. This year, the sequel of The Shining released titled Doctor Sleep.
