Nightwing Movie In The Works At Warner Bros.

It was announced back in 2017, that Warner Bros. is developing a superhero movie based on the character Nightwing. The Lego Batman Movie director Chris McKay is appointed to direct the solo film of Nightwing, and Bill Dubuque is penning the script. Nightwing was earlier supposed to appear in the Batman Vs. Superman movie, but it did not happen and there were only clues about him in the film. Director Zack Snyder said that he was killed by Joker.

Casting Details

There is no casting information shared by Warner Bros, till now for the upcoming Nightwing movie. Earlier it was reported that Stranger Things star Joe Keery is in talks with Warner Bros. to play the main lead. But there is no confirmation for now. Also, star Zac Efron was rumored to play Nightwing, but he denied all the rumors on Twitter.

Unfortunately, the movie of Nightwing is on hold reportedly because of Matt Reeves The Batman. It was reported that Matt Reeves is trying to include him in his films, so that’s the main reason for its delay. Nightwing movies will definitely happen, but it will take a long time. Now there are chances that this movie will set in Matt Reeves Batman world and not have a connection with Zack Snyder movies.

There are also no details on the story of the movie officially. In the comics, we noticed that Bruce Wayne adopted him after his parents were killed.
