Ryan Reynolds And Shawn Levy's Forthcoming Time Travel Film Will Now Release On Netflix

Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy’s forthcoming Time Travel film is being developed by the streaming giant Netflix. It was earlier picked up by Paramount. Produced by Skydance, the upcoming movie’s director is Shawn Levy. The movie has been penned down by Jonathan Tropper. The untitled film is now being developed by Netflix in place of Paramount.


What Is The Movie About?


The movie is science fantasy and had been initially titled as Our Name Is Adam. The time travel movie was initially going to be developed by Paramount, but now the project has been picked up the streaming giant Netflix. The video has gone to Netflix because it is being guessed that Paramount has lost the interest in this project. The Sci-fi film was initially set to cast Tom Cruise.

It will be based on time travel, where we will see two versions of Adam. The movie is in works with Skydance Productions and producers Dana Goldberg, Don Granger and David Ellison. The production of the film is expected to commence in November 2020 in Vancouver.


In the movie, Ryan Reynolds will be travelling back to the time to fetch help from his 13-year-old self. Reynold works with his younger self to meet their late father, who is as old as Reynold’s character is. Ryan and Shawn have reteamed for the time travel adventure movie.


About Free Guy


Earlier they had teamed for a video-game thriller movie ‘Free Guy’. The free guy is slated to release in the theatres in December 2020. Free Guy was initially going to hit the theatres on 4 July, but the release date was delayed due to the ongoing pandemic Covid-19. Covid-19 has pushed back the release dates of many movies and TV show.


It has also suddenly stopped the production work and filming of many of them. The production of the time travel movie has also been delayed because of the currently going health crisis Covid-19. The forthcoming film of Skydance Productions are ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, ‘Snake Eyes, and ‘The Tomorrow War’. All of them are in work with Paramount Pictures.
